Adding a Turbo?

The Front Turbo Cross Member Tow design is a optional design of the original Front Turbo Cross Member.  This cross member is a must if your adding a turbo to your engine or just looking for a clean up of the engine bay. This cross member design features shortened end brackets with larger elongated holes for easier installation. A built in Prothane polyurethane mount (90 duro) allows for a quick, inexpensive install that allows for extra clearance of turbo hot & cold pipes.   Added to the end bracket’s is towing loops for easy tow strap placement, allowing your vehicle to be pulled without bumper damage.

Looking to save some money? got a welder and some DIY skills? This kit is right up your alley.

We supply the difficult parts, you supply tubing of your choice.  This is an ideal choice for international buyers as these parts can ship in a bubble mail envelope.  The easiest way to fabricate this setup is to mount the end brackets to your vehicle, measure the inside dimensions of the brackets, cut your tube to those dimensions and tack weld it in place.  Then attach the polyurethane bushing assembly to the motor mount bracket, measure from your tube to the bushing, and tack weld that in place.  Once all parts are tack welded, remove the assembly and finish welding.

Features:

  • This item includes all the CNC cut metal parts and a polyurethane bushing with inner sleeve & outer tube to fabricate a rear cross member with lower mount on your own.
  • All materials are deburred, wire wheeled and/or bead blasted prior to shipping.
  • Included in this item is exactly as pictured.
