DIY Rear Cross Member Spacers

If you are purchasing or have already purchased a DIY Rear Cross member, we offer these spacers that can allow you to shim the cross member lower to allow for more downpipe clearance.  All spacers are CNC cut from flat plate.

Material Options:

A36 Steel Plate 

• Pros: cost effective and strong
• Cons: will rust without paint, not easily modified,  heavy.

5052 Aluminum plate 

• Pros: lightweight, rust resistant, no paint required.
• Cons: higher cost.

Thickness Options:

All thickness options are from solid plate. Such as 1/2″ thick is a solid piece made into a spacer, not multiple spacers totaling 1/2. For a lower cost solution in this example, (2) 1/4″ spacers can be combined to make 1/2″
