Information:

The HEI module is widely used as a igniter replacement & upgrade for the KL V6 Engines. It Is common for the OEM igniter inside the distributor to fail randomly without prior symptoms, leaving the vehicle stranded. This GM HEI module upgrade was discovered as a viable option for reliability and cost. The GM HEI is relatively inexpressive and can be replaced fairly easily, making keeping spares on hand a practical investment for peace of mind.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row bg_color_pre=”bg-color-1″][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Whats required for this harness:

You will only need a GM 4 Pin HEI Module Part#D1906.  It is recommended to get a quality brand like ACDelco/Delphi.

Optional

The HEI module gives you the option of bypassing the OEM internal coil and using a performance external coil such as MSD Blaster 2 & MSD Blaster 3. Any type or brand of single external coil will work, but MSD Blaster 3 is the most commonly used since it has a male connecting post that will easily connect to a MSD power Tower post.    MSD Power tower Post and Wire:  Part# MSD 84039
