Why Upgrade your Trailing Arms?
The OEM trailing arms by design are easy to damage/bend and allow for excessive of suspension flex resulting in body roll. Additionally when the rubber bushings deteriorate or become damaged , the entire arm assembly must be replaced.

About Prothane Bushings
We manufacturer a wide range of urethane products as replacements and upgrades for OEM (factory) Rubber bushings, mounts and parts. Urethane/Polyurethane is a term used to describe a family of elastomers (any compound exhibiting the characteristics of natural rubber; stretchy and elastic). Poly meaning “many” and “urethane” denotes the classification of the chemical structure. Polyurethane or Urethane for short is used as a solid cast material (bushings, mounts, mount inserts, etc.) that can be compounded as soft as a rubber band or as hard as a bowling ball. Each of our products is specially formed to exact specifications for resilience, performance and durability for the specific application
Why Urethane?
Production vehicles are built using rubber bushings in control arms, strut arms, leaf springs, body mounts, motor mounts, transmission mounts, sway bars and shocks. Additionally, rubber components can be found as coil spring pads, leaf spring pads and suspension bump stops. While rubber components offer a soft side, for typical driving conditions, they tend to deteriorate rapidly from exposure to the elements. This contributes to premature component failure, resulting in a “spongy” ride and loss of performance handling. Urethane is impervious to gas and oil and will not rot and is stronger that rubber.
Upgraded Design
The King6fab Upgraded Trailing arms are constructed of .120WA square tubing and incorporate Prothane Polyurethane bushings, resulting in decreased chassis body roll and suspension flex. The result of these upgraded trailing arms is a direct responsive rear suspension with minimized deflection. The design utilizing .120WA square tubing allows the arms to remain light weight with increased strength to take the punishment of competition and extreme racing conditions. Additionally, the Polyurethane bushings are individually replaceable.

Paint Option
As of 2022 we are only offering gloss black as a standard option on all products, custom colors can be added at an additional cost. Please send a color swatch, code or sample for custom colors.
Gloss Black Paint Type:
To reduce overhead cost we are using POR19 Top coat in Gloss Black. This reduces the materials needed to paint parts since it is a direct to metal application with excellent rust protection.
HIGH-PERFORMANCE TOP COAT PAINT
POR-15 Top Coat DTM paint (formerly FlexCote, BlackCote) is a direct-to-metal UV Resistant coating designed to work on prepped bare metal and work incredibly well in all applications where there is a need to help preserve substrates susceptible to corrosion. POR-15 Top Coat safety colors comply with OSHA required/recommended color codes for marking physical hazards and designating caution, to include protective equipment.
Under exterior UV exposure, POR-15 Top Coat has exceptional long-term sheen and color retention. POR-15 Top Coat can be applied directly to prepped metal substrates or previously painted surfaces, with no need for a primer or undercoat, and is formulated to form a robust barrier that sheds moisture to provide long-lasting protection. POR-15 Top Coat provides excellent adhesion and UV protection when used over POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating to provide a permanent barrier to corrosion.
Custom Paint Type:
The paint we use for custom colors is a combination of Nason® SelectSeal Primer & Nason® FastDry™ 1K Acrylic Enamel Topcoat. This paint type gives a excellent finish while being cost efficient.
Nason® FastDry™ 1K Acrylic Enamel Topcoat, An acrylic enamel single-stage topcoat designed for easy refinishing of machinery and equipment.
