About the Cart Design:
This cart is specifically designed for the Miller 255 welder. Its main design function is to allow you to position the welder at the height that works best for you.
The base design positions the welder 36inches from the ground. This is a great height for adjustments and viewing that doesn’t require bending over.
The cart design utilizes 5in caster wheels and 10inch dolly wheels so that it rolls very easily with 2 shielding gas tanks.
How the Welder Fits:
The miller 255 welder feet fit into holes cut into the top plate that naturally secure it into position. The cart does not need a handle for pushing or pulling, this can be done from the Miller 255 machine itself.
Materials Recommended:
The base design uses A36 3/16 Steel Plate. Aluminum can be substituted. Thinner or thicker materials will require redesign of the parts that require bending.

The 3d files in this package can be opened in Fusion 360 and all the individual components can be changed as desired. They can also be opened in Blender/Other 3d Program for modeling as they are to real world scale.
What tooling/machines are needed to build this?
This cart can be built with common fabrication tools/machinery. Such as (given) your miller 255 welder. The pieces that require bending can be bent via brake press or vice and hammer. You can provide the dxf files to a CNC plasma/waterjet/fiber laser shop or cut them yourself if you have access. The tubing and solid rods can be cut by bandsaw, cold saw, grinder, hack saw, etc.
Below are finished build photos of the cart with a Miller 255 with Steel MIG welding attachment and Aluminum Spool Gun attachment with 2 shielding gas tanks.
