    Information about Files

    In 2024 we redesigned our rear cross member from a tubular design to a flat steel design that can be CNC Cut. This design offers weight savings, it is much easier to install and allows the user to use shims to space the cross member precisely to allow clearance of the down pipe.  This design is so much easier we decided to offer the files for personal DIY use. 

    With these files you can fabricate your own rear cross member using local or online services by utilizing the files to CNC cut the materials. This design allows the user to utilize the lower mount feature at any time and its included in the download.  Build and attach the lower mount now or later on.

    What’s required to Fabricate this cross member using these files

    • You will need access to a machine capable of reading DXF CAD File, such as waterjet, plasma table or fiber laser.
    • You will need a welder capable of welding the material thickness that you choose.
    • Materials documented in the materials list.

    Fitment

    • This cross member will fit the 2nd Generation Mazda Mx6, 626 and Ford Probe Models with the V6 Engine and Manual Transmission. It has not been tested on other models but is very likely to fit.
