Piston Ring Fitment

Prior to the installation of the pistons I had been tinkering with a 3d printer for the first time ever. “tinkering” as I was using tinkercard software to make things and print them, the first thing I made was a push rod for sizing the piston rings when filing them to spec. This it actually proved very handy vs using an actual piston as a push rod.

I used a cheap ring file to size the rings according to the guide that came with the CP Pistons.

The next thing I made as guide rods to aid when installing the pistons for assembly, they were printed in PLA and I was impressed with the 3dprinted threads that actually were a perfect fit.
