About the Dashboard Display

This dashboard display is a engineered way to hold a HDMI LCD Screen in the OEM gauge cluster position and look like it was from factory.

The dashboard display is designed to utilize Tunerstudio software for a Megasquirt or ECU that utilizes Tunerstudio.

But realistically it will display whatever you provide to it thru a HDMI Cable.

It will not work if you do not have a Megasquirt system or equivalent that is tuned with EFIAnalytics’s Tuner Studio.

(Examples: Megasquirt 1, Megasquirt 2, MSPNP2, MS3, MS3Pro)

Why a Digital Dashboard?

Normally, you tune the vehicle with a laptop that has Tuner Studio installed on it. You connect the laptop direct to the Megasquirt in your car via USB to a serial connector or bluetooth serial adapter. This requires a good laptop battery and/or inverter during the duration you will be using it in the vehicle, otherwise the laptop powers off and you loose all your data.   While driving, you cannot physically see what the laptop is showing unless you have an elaborate stand to hold it in front of you. Often the laptop is sitting in the passenger seat as a distraction.

With this Digital Dashboard, the tuning software can be fully integrated into vehicle and start up with the vehicle displaying right in front of you anything you want.

Features:

• OEM like Fitment – The dashboard fits into the space of the OEM gauge cluster originally is mounted to without modification to your vehicle, it even uses the OEM screws.
• Multi Piece design – This was designed with serviceability in mind. It is built in layers that can be disassembled for repair or modification.
• LED Indicators – LED indicators are used to replace the commonly used OEM indicators.  All other indicators can be utilized on your Raspberry Pi.
• Screen control buttons – The dashboard features push button switches to change settings on the screen such as brightness, contrast, colors, etc.  All accessible on the dashboard exterior.
• Programable buttons – The dashboard features push button switches that can be programmed to perform functions of your choice. Such as cycle data log on and off, change screen layout, start a timer.  These buttons are also used if you choose the fuel gauge option, they can change the color and value displayed on the gauge.
• Digital Fuel Gauge Option – If your not using a MS3 system, a digital fuel gauge can be built in to the cluster that works with your OEM fuel gauge sender.
• Molex connector connections
• Wire Harness – A wire harness wrapped with expandable sleeving that can be directly wired to your car and/or interfaced with our Dashboard Node.
