Prior to the installation of the pistons I had been tinkering with a 3d printer for the first time ever. \u201ctinkering\u201d as I was using tinkercard software to make things and print them, the first thing I made was a push rod for sizing the piston rings when filing them to spec. This it actually proved very handy vs using an actual piston as a push rod.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
I used a cheap ring file to size the rings according to the guide that came with the CP Pistons. <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n The next thing I made as guide rods to aid when installing the pistons for assembly, they were printed in PLA and I was impressed with the 3dprinted threads that actually were a perfect fit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/a><\/div>
